Must have Application Development and strong Agile experience.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee the production and completion of large-scale projects. You must be a multi-tasker who has excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, and can effectively manage a team to finish their work efficiently and within deadlines. At the start of each project, you will collaborate with other department heads to discuss the scope and budget. Then you will monitor each phase, ensuring the staff works efficiently and that the final product meets our client’s expectations.

Job responsibilities:

  • Drive integrated teams to deliver technology solutions in support of key product initiatives by working closely with product owners, business analysts, application developers, infrastructure engineers, and quality assurance testers
  • Manage projects to budget and ensure change control identifies variances to budget, schedule, or scope. Effectively manage and communicate issues and risks and develop mitigation plans. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Provide project status updates.
  • Develop project documentation and artifacts including project charter, project schedule (timeline), risks and issues log, weekly status and project closure
  • Organize and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, sprint and release planning, and other agile development related activities
  • Ensure effective, timely, and consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Support continuous process improvement within the project management domain
  • Initial assignment will be an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) implementation project


  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years’ project management experience leading IT application/software development projects
  • Experience in multiple project management methodologies, including a solid understanding of Agile, waterfall, and hybrid methodologies
  • Enterprise Data Warehouse implementation project management experience
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project, Jira or similar tools
  • Nimble, flexible, able to think out of the box; apply the appropriate process/methodology or solution to a given problem
  • Able to conceptually understand a project’s technical solution and explain it to non-technical stakeholders
  • Able to facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Able to successfully manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously
  • Agile-related experience and Agile-related certification (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP or equivalent)
  • Pluses
  • PMI-PMP certification
  • Insurance industry experience
