Key Notes:

  • 100% remote! Chicago based candidate are ideal, but we’re open to anyone in the US.
  • Experience with B2B/B2C CloudCraze and Service Cloud is a major plus! Exposure to Pardot or SAP is nice too, but not required.

About the Position: This position’s primary responsibility is to lead the ongoing development of our deployment, including both Service Cloud and B2B/B2C CloudCraze systems. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the platform. This individual will work closely with the companies Managed Services teams, Salesforce support teams, company functional leaders, and subject matter experts to identify, develop and deploy modifications to our existing system or new business processes. Configure, tune, create, modify, or update applications supporting business objectives and ongoing operations. Additionally, this role will encompass aspects of project management, administration, and Salesforce analyst.


  • Perform customization and development on the platform leading in design direction and architecture decisions.
  • Perform administrative and development tasks with the platform and be able to manage multiple environments.
  • Participate in the design cycle as needed (solution definition, design, estimating and project planning). Determine business, functional and technical requirements.
  • Participate in all the steps in the software development life cycle to create and modify the software. Participate in the design process that generates application, functional, and technical specifications.
  • Complete application coding assignments that meet technical specifications and end-user requirements.
  • Document application design specifications and implementation procedures to improve application quality and reuse of code.
  • Assist in the creation of unit, function and performance test scripts to improve application quality and ensure fulfillment of requirement.
  • Participate in and/or lead efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation.
  • These accountabilities may be solely the responsibility of this individual or led by this individual in working with the companies Managed Services Salesforce Development team.
  • Understand and provide solutions and support for all integrated business systems (i.e. SAP ERP, Transportation Management, Address Validation, Credit Card Processing, tax calculation, etc.).


  • Bachelor’s degree required – Computer Science, MIS or equivalent work experience.
  • 4-6 years direct experience working on CRM projects for middle market and enterprise size companies.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Problem solver and good analytical skills required.
  • Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development.
  • Developer or Architect Certification desired with an understanding of core web technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies such as XP/SCRUM, web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.), Apex, triggers, lightning controls and Aura components, programming; application of job software programs; troubleshooting and resolving database software problems.
  • A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based project environment with a willingness to put in extra effort when projects require and be interested in developing their professional network through participation in technology user groups, networking events, and technology organizations.
