We’re looking for a Sr. Growth Lead, B2B to join our global marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Global Demand Generation and GTM, your goal will be to bring more Shopify to more B2B merchants Globally. This means driving acquisition of high value Shopify merchants that are not on Plus, and building a self-serve model for high value prospects. You’ll own the growth marketing strategy and execution for auto-upgrades, Plus self serve and working closely with marketing, product, Growth, and sales teams to scale and optimize these missions.
In this role, you will be leading the strategy and execution for auto upgrades and self serve, which includes building out a team that is highly experimental and iterative. This also means you will be leading cross functional team members to gain buy in and achieve a common goal.
We’re looking for both a domain expert that lives and breathes marketing/growth and an exceptional leader who can build high-performing teams, set and hold high standards, and invest in their team’s development and success.
You will be the key person in developing a holistic strategy for acquiring new B2B merchants in new ways while also building on the relatively new auto-upgrades program, and influencing the optimization of marketing strategies for all our B2B segments. You are proficient in getting your hands into data, understanding customer journeys, user behaviour, and also translating this into actionable recommendations.
We are growing into new segments and new international markets and this excites you. You have an understanding of and an appreciation for the nuances in local markets to be able to develop (in partnership with regional marketing) localised acquisition strategies to reach, surprise, and delight new audiences.
