As a UX Designer/Researcher at NewWave, you will be enabling good UX on a variety of client projects from start to finish. You will bring our client’s products to life by solving interaction challenges, content optimization, and collaborative design with peer stakeholders and teams.
You will be a member of a product scrum team in this role. You will analyze requirements and propose solutions, designs, and interactions that deliver the value of the product and its features. You will understand the dependencies of large enterprise applications and work backwards from the user pain points to an elegant solution based on sound design practices. You should be versed in all areas of design, structure, navigation systems, detailed screen flows, and well-crafted easy-to-use content. You should be comfortable presenting your work to cross-functional teams and value the iterative approach of research-driven design. You will participate in requirements gathering, analysis, demos, research, and code reviews as necessary.
Your portfolio should demonstrate a balanced approach to solving design challenges, conducting research, and delivering optimized experiences.
The needs of our clients are diverse, so you may be expected to pivot as needed between conceptual designs/sketches, content, and research. As the UX design and research expert on your projects, you will be a UX champion and advocate design excellence across your project teams. You’ll interface directly with senior product owners and executive client leadership. You will know your designs front to back and know what research findings were relevant to solve the challenge
