We are seeking a Regional Sales Executive to focus on building out a partner and prospect network in the North America (primary) telecommunication industries – with the successful person being able to be based anywhere in North America.

To be successful in the role you must have previous Telecommunications sales experience and knowledge of BSS/OSS software and systems.

You also must be a fast-moving, driven individual with a strong customer focus. We are looking to change our market profile with this role and really want high performers with high expectations of themselves and of us – it’s a two-way street!

A solid track record of successful enterprise sales or B2B sales in this market will be required and you will be used to driving sales activities from initial prospect identification to deal closure.

To effectively manage this process, the appointed individual should be comfortable with direct customer consulting and opportunity development. As you will be working remotely (if you want to – you’re welcome to be office based if that fits better!) you will have a high level of autonomy and be motivated to generate leads, revenue, and achieve individual sales targets.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify possible sales channel partners as well as system implementors.
  • Identify prospective telecommunication opportunities for lead generation and conversion into sale or pipeline.
  • Recognize the needs of the consumer and provide detailed information to the consumer about the technical specifications of the computer software offered by the company.
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs.
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare commercial agreements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in pre-sales, development teams, and product managers to advise customers on technical matters and recommend appropriate software capabilities and configurations.
  • Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers’ systems and processes.

 Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong relationship building and management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • High energy and motivation for lead generation and sales is required.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and CRM applications (Dynamics, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel within United States as needed

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education plus experience is required.
  • 5-10 years of experience direct selling to Telecom Industry Clients is required
  • Track record of selling deals over $1M USD.
  • Experience selling BSS / OSS and related software products strongly preferred.
  • Experience selling to medium to large companies; good at multi-tier selling, building strong C-level relationships (basically good at figuring out who the decision makers are and getting to them).
