What You’ll Be Doing:

The Workday Payroll HRIS Analyst will work as part of the HRIS team and will be responsible for, performing analysis/testing/support, and developing new features in Workday with a focus on Payroll and cross-functional modules that have a touchpoint with payroll.

Collaboration Opportunities:

This position serves as a technical point-of-contact for the mentioned functional areas and assists the functional subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, requirements gathering, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. They will also support and manage the Workday semi-annual updates, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned. This position will also provide support, and mentor other team members.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Provide subject matter expertise in Workday Payroll.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand pain points, prioritize requirements, and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency by leveraging Workday functionality.
  • Gather requirements and deploy high-quality solutions in an Agile development framework.
  • Create and maintain clear, comprehensive, documented business requirements for requested changes, enhancements, or projects; accountable for articulating functional processes from beginning to end and providing thought leadership on functionality and design.
  • Maintain awareness of Workday’s future releases/roadmap and the potential impact of those plans on current and future Workday functionality.
  • Analyze, design, and build new custom reports using standard Workday reporting functionality.
  • Support Workday Inbound/Outbound integrations for Payroll where needed.
  • Help identify and manage dependencies and downstream impacts of projects to minimize adverse effects on the system and business processes.
  • Must have a strong understanding of HR and financial business processes and experience working with enterprise-level applications.
  • Implement solutions on the Workday Roadmap through rigorous design, development, testing, and deployment with required documentation.
  • Manage support tickets ensuringΒ thorough, timely workΒ andΒ compliance with documentation procedures in the ticket tracking system.
  • Configure and administer security in compliance with SOX policies and procedures.
  • Successfully collaborate with team members.

Qualifications Required and Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree/4+ years of Workday HRIS/ HRIT experience with deep configuration expertise in the Workday Payroll module.
  • Experience configuring Earnings, Deductions, and Tax set up (Required).
  • Must be proficient in the Workday EIB Data loading process (Required).
  • Experience and knowledge of other Workday modules preferred (such as Absence, Time Tracking, and Compensation) (Required).
  • Ability to understand, evaluate, and recommend changes to business processes/reports is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members (Required).
  • Experience with Workday security and reporting (Preferred).

Technical Requirements:

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

Compensation Range: The minimum salary for this position is $110,000 – 125,000, plus benefits. Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
