They are a remote-first, global team backed by Nordic investors and trusted by a growing number of customers. They are looking for exceptionally talented full-stack software engineers to help us extend and scale our product to satisfy the needs of our growing customer base.

Here is a brief overview of the stack/tools that they are working with today

  • React application written in TypeScript; we use Bootstrap with SASS modules and a lightweight component library with Storybook, D3 charts
  • Node backend (TypeScript) running our GraphQL API, with Prisma for schema management and ORM

Some of the upcoming technical challenges are

  • Build a smooth customer onboarding experience
  • Move to a more advanced logging stack with metric collection, detailed alerting and system health reporting (we are currently using centralised GCP Cloud Logging)
  • Translate our event-driven data pipeline to a message-driven architecture
  • Expose REST APIs to allow B2B integrations with our service

About you:

  • You want to be part of an ambitious, driven and energetic team of engineers, designers, economists, and data scientists that’s set out to build exceptional products to accelerate the transition towards a decarbonized economy and contribute to the fight against climate change
  • You are motivated, driven, organized, ready to take responsibility, and adapt quickly in a fast-moving startup environment
  • You have a product mindset:
  • You love solving complex problems and building products that users love
  • You focus on delivering value to users while navigating the possible trade-offs between business requirements and technical implementation

Requirements

  • Working experience with TypeScript (2+ years)
  • Extensive experience with authorization and security in a multi-tenant context
  • Experience with system design and software architecture beyond implementing features in existing eco-systems
  • Experience with a message driven Pub/Sub architecture in data intensive domains
  • Mentored other engineers and/or lead a team
