## Description:

I have a degree in marketing but want to transition into data analysis. I don’t have a formal degree or certification in data analysis yet, but I’ve been learning on my own and doing some small projects. Is it realistic to make this career switch without going back to school for a degree? How can I demonstrate my skills to potential employers to get hired without formal qualifications in the new field?

Copy answer link Report answerskills matter way more than fancy papers here. Avoid acting like you know everything-always be learning and tweaking your projects. Don’t ghost networking either; those connections open doors off the usual degree path. Pump out clear, real-worrld examples that prove you can crush data problems-show don’t just tell

Also, networking in data communities helped tons-sometimes a referral means more than a degree. Tbh, showing you ask good questions and solve problems beats just listing skills.
