One is a polished general portfolio with three end-to-end projects, while the other replaces one project with a smaller case study about improving async collaboration in a remote team. The tailored version fits the job description better, but the case study has less visual polish and relies on internal process details I have had to anonymize. I worry that sending the general version will make me look like I ignored the company’s remote-first needs, yet I also do not want a weaker project to be the first thing a hiring manager sees. Should I tailor the portfolio for this application or use the stronger, consistent version?
