July 2020 - Mar 2022 MSC Information Technology at Smt. Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science

As a recent graduate of the Master of Science in Information Technology program, I am well-versed in the latest technical concepts and practices used in the IT industry. Through the program, I gained expertise in a range of technical areas, including software development, database management, cybersecurity, and project management.

One of the key technical skills I developed through the program was the ability to design and develop complex IT systems using a variety of programming languages and tools. I also gained a deep understanding of database design and management, including the use of SQL and other database technologies.

In addition to technical skills, I also learned about the importance of cybersecurity and data protection. I gained knowledge of security policies and procedures, and was trained in the latest tools and techniques used to protect data and networks from cyber threats.

Overall, the MSC IT program provided me with a strong technical foundation and a deep understanding of the complex systems and tools used in the IT industry. I am excited to apply this knowledge to real-world problems and make meaningful contributions to organizations in the field.

Mar 2022 - Apr 2022 Data Engineering Intern at Numadic

As a Data Engineering Intern, I was responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines that incorporated cutting-edge technologies such as automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) and optical character recognition (OCR). One of my key projects involved developing an image pipeline that could process images of license plates captured by surveillance cameras in real-time, extract the license plate number using OCR, and store the data in a database for further analysis. To accomplish this, I designed and implemented an API that could handle requests from the surveillance cameras and return the extracted license plate number.

To develop the image pipeline, I worked with a team of data engineers and computer vision experts to design and implement a scalable and efficient system. We used open-source libraries such as OpenCV and Tesseract to develop algorithms that could detect license plates in images and extract the license plate number using OCR. We also used machine learning techniques to improve the accuracy and reliability of the system. The system was designed to handle large volumes of data in real-time and ensure data quality and integrity.

Overall, my experience as a Data Engineering Intern was highly technical and provided me with valuable hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies such as ALPR, OCR, and API development. I gained a deep understanding of the image processing pipeline and the importance of data quality and integrity in this field. I am excited to continue developing my skills in this area and make meaningful contributions to organizations that are using these technologies to enhance their operations.
