The Financial Accountant will also play a crucial role in the preparation of financial statements and other reports used by management to make informed business decisions. ## Responsibilities: * Record and reconcile daily financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner * Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements * Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns * Ensure compliance with GAAP, local, state, and federal regulations * Participate in the annual audit process, working with external auditors to complete the process efficiently * Analyze financial data and make recommendations to management on ways to improve financial performance * Maintain accurate and complete financial records and files * Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts * Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on financial matters ## Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance * Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar This job description is not exhaustive and the role may require the performance of other duties as assigned.
