## About Me

I am an accounting support professional with more than 20 years of experience in payroll processing, accounts payable, procurement, and reconciliation. My background includes work in municipal government and nonprofit organizations, where I have built a reputation for accuracy, confidentiality, and dependable follow-through.

I currently serve as an Administrative Specialist II / I with the City of Hollywood in the Department of Public Utilities. In this role, I process bi-weekly payroll, handle attendance and pay-discrepancy questions, manage purchase requisitions and vendor invoices, and reconcile monthly division expenses.

I have also supported office operations as a Secretary / Office Manager for APWU Miami Area Local 172. There, I performed bookkeeping in QuickBooks, reconciled bank statements, supported payroll, managed vendor payments, coordinated events, and handled meeting calendars and conference logistics.

Earlier in my career, I worked as an Administrative Assistant / Pharmacy Technician, where I processed billing invoices, troubleshot payment issues, verified insurance coverage, and coordinated prior authorizations with physicians. This experience strengthened my administrative, billing, and customer service skills.

I hold a Bachelor of Science from Nova Southeastern University and am proficient in QuickBooks, Oracle Enterprise, and advanced Microsoft Excel. I also bring strong recordkeeping, data entry, and office management abilities, along with a typing speed of 55+ WPM.
