Corteva Agriscience

Corteva Agriscience is a global agricultural company dedicated to enriching the lives of those who produce and consume, ensuring progress for generations to come. Formed in 2018 as a subsidiary of DuPont, Corteva became a standalone public company in June 2019. The company offers a comprehensive range of seed, crop protection, and digital solutions, serving farmers in over 110 countries.

Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, Corteva operates through two main segments: Seed and Crop Protection. The Seed segment develops and supplies advanced germplasm and traits that enhance crop yields, providing trait technologies that improve resistance to weather, disease, insects, and herbicides. Additionally, it offers digital solutions to assist farmers in optimizing product selection and maximizing profitability. The Crop Protection segment provides products that protect against weeds, insects, and diseases, as well as enhance crop health through nitrogen management and seed-applied technologies.

Corteva’s portfolio includes well-known brands such as Pioneer, Brevant, Nutech, Power Plus, and Hoegemeyer. The company is committed to sustainability and innovation, focusing on developing solutions that address global agricultural challenges. In March 2023, Corteva acquired Stoller Group, a maker of natural pesticides, for $1.2 billion, and Symborg, a microbiological technologies company based in Spain, to expand its biologicals offerings.

In November 2024, Corteva partnered with BP to develop a low-carbon-intensive bio-feedstock for aviation biofuel production, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable practices. The company’s mission is to lead the agricultural industry toward a future where farming is more productive and sustainable, benefiting global communities and ensuring food security for a growing population.
