MacKillop Family Services is a national provider of child and family services established in 1997, with a history extending back over 165 years to the work of its founders in Australia who established homes for children and families in need of care and support. It operates primarily across Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia, Northern Territory, and the Australian Capital Territory.nnThe organization is committed to social justice and advocates for the rights of children and families, particularly those who have experienced distress, disadvantage, and abuse. MacKillop’s mission is to ensure every child and young person enjoys their childhood in a nurturing home where they feel secure in their cultural identity with a genuine sense of belonging and safety.nnMacKillop delivers a broad range of services including foster care, residential care for children unable to live at home due to abuse or other reasons, family therapy, disability services, youth support, education and training, mental health support, family violence intervention, early childhood and parenting programs, and youth homelessness services. Its programs are evidence-based and aim to keep families safely together by strengthening and repairing relationships.nnThe organization employs over 1,600 staff working from 45 offices nationally, supporting over 12,000 children, young people, and families annually.
