At Serve Robotics, we design, develop, and operate zero-emissions robots that serve people in public spaces, starting with food delivery. Founded in 2017 originally as the robotics division of Postmates, we set out to build a robotic delivery experience that delights customers, enhances reliability for merchants, and reduces vehicle emissions to zero.
Our autonomous sidewalk delivery robots have successfully completed tens of thousands of contactless deliveries in major cities including Los Angeles and San Francisco, showcasing the effectiveness and safety of our technology. In February 2021, we spun off as an independent company and continued to innovate in the autonomous delivery space with the support of our investors such as Uber and Nvidia.
We have secured several commercial partnerships, notably unveiling a deal with Uber to deploy up to 2,000 robots, signaling strong market demand and trust in our technology. Our company is recognized for innovation and design, having received honorable mentions at the Fast Company Innovation Design Awards.
Our mission is to shape the future of sustainable, self-driving delivery by providing efficient, environmentally friendly robotic delivery solutions that improve urban mobility and convenience while reducing carbon footprint. We continue expanding our partner platform and technological capabilities to deliver the future of autonomous delivery in cities worldwide.
