Responsibilities:
- Provide nimble, practical advice to product, engineering, and operations teams shipping innovative new features, products, and programs
- Work closely with product, comms, and marketing teams on external facing proactive and reactive communications
- Manage and assist with litigation, regulatory, and law enforcement matters
- Develop and ship reusable frameworks for complex issues without clear solutions
- Keep abreast of quickly evolving legal and regulatory landscape to forecast and head off potential challenges
Desired Experience:
- 8+ years of legal experience, with meaningful product counseling, regulatory, and litigation experience
- Extensive experience counseling non-lawyer clients in the crypto/blockchain industry or at a fast-paced consumer technology company
- Track record of collaborative partnership with lawyers and non-lawyers to solve problems and get things done
- Juris doctor from accredited law school
- Member of a US state bar in good standing

- Ability to zoom out and see the big picture, but also zoom in and dig into the details and move projects forward – no matter how big or small

The base salary for this full-time position, which spans across several internal levels depending on qualifications, ranges between $225,000 – $285,000 plus benefits & equity.
