Our client is hiring a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to join their Digital Marketing and eCommerce team on a full-time/permanent basis! This is a brand new, fully remote role that will help this omnichannel retail client improve their overall digital presence. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of two years of SEO experience, preferably from a retail or eCommerce brand. Must have experience partnering with other marketing professionals, as well as outside agencies or vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day planning, execution, and analysis of organic search and paid search and programs.
- Work closely with agencies daily.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams on various digital marketing projects and on-site projects for our ecommerce website.
- Manage a schedule that supports both regional and seasonal marketing initiatives through paid search and other digital marketing avenues.
- Edit meta tags and alt tags using product knowledge for maximum exposure within Natural Search Listings.
- Monitor the SEM and SEO traffic segments and analyze the mix of results in the SERP towards business goals.
- Utilize onsite search and natural search referral results to help drive keyword buys.
- Monitor other website behaviors to determine marketing strategies based on visitor behavior.
- Help monitor and edit content on AmericanFreight.com for grammar, spelling, link structure, brand representation, etc.
- Perform all other related duties and tasks as assigned by the Sr. Performance Marketing Manager and DVP.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Strong analytical skills: must have working knowledge of commonly used digital marketing metrics and the ability to draw insights from them.
- Verbal and Written communication: ability to communicate effectively and tell stories with/from data that are understandable to technical and non-technical teams.
- Fast learner: Ability to quickly identify and close gaps in knowledge
- Strong time-management skills.
- Self-driven: knows how to prioritize and can focus on projects and tasks that are most impactful.
- Collaborative: ability to work with individuals and teams across multiple functions and with all levels of management.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
