Purpose

This role provides Envato with digital content evaluation expertise, consultation and project assistance pertaining to the improvement, development and quality of the Envato Market library. This role has a specific emphasis on evaluating technical and aesthetic review of graphic assets, logos and fonts.

What would I work on specifically?

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • This role will primarily assess the following vector and rasterized graphics: backgrounds and patterns, decorative elements, textures, graphic objects, isolated Objects.
  • Evaluation of graphic assets according to Envato’s requirements (reviewing):
  • Review against technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Provide helpful feedback on item reviews, particularly rejections to help authors fix their items where necessary.
  • Work with the Review team and specialists to ensure marketplace library quality standards and review accuracy is  maintained.
  • To perform assessment of authors portfolios to determine suitability for our marketplaces where required.
  • Lead generation of potential new authors to recruit for our marketplaces where required.
  • Library management and curation activities where required.

Required Technical Skills/Experience

  • 2+ years of experience as graphic designer, ideally in branding area.
  • Intermediate usage of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (including use of shortcuts and hotkeys).A keen eye for detail, ability to articulate critique using written instructions.
  • Basic knowledge in creation of fonts and logos. Strong knowledge of design theory, color, balance, and layout with the ability to clearly articulate these concepts and apply them to art and design critique.
  • Knowledge of Procreate, In Design (nice to have).
  • Experience giving feedback to peers.
  • Intermediate English level  in both written and verbal communication.
