We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team Finance. You will thrive in this role if you’re a problem-solver who is proactive and relentless in finding solutions.
🚀 What you’ll do:
- Assist the Controller with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end work
- Maintain Balance Sheet account schedules (Prepaids, Accruals, Payroll Clearing, Assets, Depreciation, etc.)
- Process domestic and international payments, international wire transfers, and troubleshooting banking issues
- In charge of the Accounts Payables cycle (vendor information collection, coding expenses, entering in Bill.com, payments management)
- Process payroll (US & International)
- Help with preparing and booking journal entries
- Experience with employer enrollment with local government agencies
- Substantial experience in reconciliations (cash, liabilities accounts, billing)
- Help with preparing SOPs
- Communicate effectively with leaders across the organization and other team members
🔥 Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Senior Staff Accountant/Staff Accountant experience in the SaaS industry
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting standards
- Intermediate/advanced Excel skills, experience with Google Suite, highly proficient/expert level with QuickBooks, bill.com, reimbursement workflows, BambooHR or similar payroll software
- Highly organized and hands-on
- Good work ethic and displays a can do type of attitude, preferably prior experience in a fully remote work environment
- Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex accounting issues
- Technical with new software and ideally some background knowledge in extracting information from databases
