Airbase is the top-ranked modern spend management platform for businesses with 100-5,000 employees. It’s the best way to control spending, close the books faster, and manage financial risk. Airbase software offers modules for Guided Procurement, Accounts Payable Automation, Expense Management, and a flexible corporate card program on a single collaborative platform. It can be implemented in full or as individual modules. Airbase automates all spending workflows and guides the process for all purchases — procure, pay, close. It brings efficiency to complex business processes like multi-stakeholder compliance and accounting needs like multi-subsidiaries, amortizations, and purchase orders. Flexible intake and approval workflows ensure oversight across all stakeholders and spend compliance. Airbase integrates with your other business systems and seamlessly syncs to popular general ledgers. Employees and accounting teams love using Airbase.

About the Role:

Do you love great prose and appreciate a nifty turn of phrase? Are you that eagle-eyed proofreader who notices a misplaced colon or skewed spacing around an em dash? Are you in awe of, and have you mastered, the mightiness of the pen? Are you fast and efficient at drafting great content? If so, we should talk. Airbase is looking for a talented individual with both impeccable writing skills and a penchant for understanding what audiences will “hear” to serve as a marketing copywriter. We would expect that your portfolio would include writing samples of B2B content with extra credit given to topics in the finance and accounting sector.

Airbase is a VC-funded, fast-growing, fast-moving software company that creates Procure-to-Pay software for small to midsize companies. Your communications must connect with, and be of value to, finance professionals, including CFOs, finance managers, accountants, and procurement professionals.

This is a contract position with assignments expected to take between 35 and 40 hours a week.  We seek a demonstrated ability to write high-quality, compelling, accessible, and informative copy. Knowledge of finance or accounting is a big plus; willingness to learn about it is a must. You will need to make yourself available to meet regularly with the Director of Content at least twice a week for check-ins and reviews of work, this would be scheduled between 8am–5pm Pacific Standard Time (GMT-8).

What You’ll Do:

About You:
