As an Instructional Designer within our Revenue Enablement team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the learning experiences that empower our teams and customers. What We’re Looking For:
We seek a creative, detail-oriented, and strategic Instructional Designer who embodies our values of putting customers first, prioritizing team over self, focusing on results, and maintaining a bias toward action. This role demands a blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. You’ll design and develop learning materials on various topics, including selling skills, sales process, and onboarding new hires. Ensuring our teams are equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel.Key Responsibilities:
- Create training material to support the vision of our Director of Revenue Enablement.
- Conduct learning assessments to identify effective learning activities and course designs that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Manage projects from conception through execution, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Design and develop learning materials for both face-to-face and virtual sessions, utilizing innovative and evidence-based approaches.
- Collaborate with SMEs to contextualize complex information into captivating learning materials.
- Ensure quality assurance on content and provide completion reporting.
- Measure the impact of learning programs against set objectives.
- Maintain and update course materials for relevance and accuracy.
- Manage our LMS system and learning tools (Lessonly, Articulate, Vyond).
The Skill Set:
- 5+ Years of previous Instructional Design-focused work experience.
- 3+ years in a customer-facing role.
- A deep passion for creating engaging learning experiences and a proven track record in instructional design.
- Experience designing and developing instructional materials and programs within a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with SMEs and stakeholders across the organization.
- Creative skills in designing instructional graphics, user interfaces, and the overall visual aspect of courses.
- Proficiency in learning technologies and instructional design best practices.
- Experience in creating assessments to measure learning effectiveness.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
Within One Month, You’ll:
- Immerse yourself in the Salesloft culture and values through our New Hire Orientation and unique learning programs.
- Begin collaborations with key stakeholders and SMEs across the company, understanding their needs and how best to address them through learning.
- Start familiarizing yourself with Salesloft’s products, services, and learning ecosystem.
Within Three Months, You’ll:
- Have designed and initiated the development of new learning modules and materials.
- Have established a clear process for working with SMEs to translate requirements into engaging learning experiences.
- Start to measure the impact of newly designed learning experiences.
Within Six Months, You’ll:
- See tangible improvements in the effectiveness of the Salesloft team based on feedback and learning metrics.
- Become a go-to expert within Salesloft for learning design and development.
Within Twelve Months, You’ll:
- Have fully integrated innovative learning technologies and methodologies into SalesLoft’s learning materials.
- Demonstrate measurable success in the learning outcomes of both Salesloft team members and our customers.
- Have contributed significantly to the professional development culture within Salesloft.
