At Built, we are incredibly proud of our work thus far but have only scratched the surface of our product and company’s potential. As a Business Development Representative, you will join Built’s growing sales team in introducing the Built platform to key stakeholders within the Owner, Developer, and Contractor ecosystem within real estate. You will play an integral role in working hand in hand with both our sales and marketing teams to cultivate leads, build relationships, and help us achieve our revenue goals. This role will sit in Nashville, TN.
In this Role, You Will:
- Educating key stakeholders at target institutions
- Conducting outreach to target prospects
- Conducting extensive research on the banking and construction lending industry
- Documenting all interactions in our CRM
- Attending and representing Built at various conferences, trade shows, events, etc
- Identifying key targets and trends in named accounts
- Constantly looking for ways to improve current Built processes
- Qualifying and engaging executives at financial institutions
- Collaborating with senior sales and the Built marketing team to achieve company and personal objectives
- Work with the team and sales leadership to constantly improve execution and grow your skill set
- Quickly ramp up your understanding of the construction lending industry in order to effectively establish trust and credibility with executives at target accounts
- Continuous personal development regarding sales techniques and strategies
- Review blogs from top industry sales leaders
- Attend webinars/sales training forums as available
- Be fluid and dynamic to change
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant experience
- A strong desire to learn and advance your career in enterprise software sales (previous enterprise sales experience a plus)
