About the Role
As the Strategic SEO Account Manager focusing on the Private Equity Parent and Sub-Accounts, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our client services to unprecedented levels of excellence. Your influence will extend to providing sophisticated support to Account Managers, ensuring seamless collaboration across the team, and maximizing revenue through strategic upsells, contract renewals, and proactive measures to protect client investments in our services.
This role demands a highly analytical and results-oriented professional who will be responsible for conducting in-depth analyses of individual campaign performance metrics on a monthly basis, while providing a quarterly health check for overarching parent campaigns. Utilizing your exceptional data analysis skills, you will translate complex findings into actionable insights, identifying trends and opportunities for campaign optimization. The ability to distill these insights into clear, concise, and client-facing reports is paramount. You will confidently present findings and recommendations during client calls and be prepared to present in person on occasion.
What Your Success Will Look Like
- Provide specialized support for our private equity parent and sub-accounts, including direct communication via email, Zoom, and in-person, while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement advanced SEO strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of high-value clients.
- Contribute to the growth of product revenue by identifying and executing upselling opportunities within the high-value client portfolio.
- Conduct pre & post-launch audits for new private equity clients to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and successful launch.
- Analyze and create organic ranking goals, implementing tailored strategies to enhance visibility and drive targeted traffic for high-value clients.
- Act as a senior-level resource, providing mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and contributing to the overall success of the team.
Who You Are And What You Bring
- 5+ years experience in high-value client-facing roles within an SEO environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-centric approach.
- Strong understanding of organic ranking strategies and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and third-party SEO platforms like Ahrefs and SEMRush.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the capacity to oversee and optimize complex plans.
- Experience with upselling and revenue growth strategies is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and embrace AI technologies to improve marketing strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to ongoing changes within the company and marketing landscape.

Compensation
We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
- The base salary range is $88,000 (entry-level) – $90,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
