The IT company Andersen invites an experienced PHP Developer (Laravel) to join its team for working with a Saudi Arabia company.
The customer is one of the largest retail chains in the Middle East and the leading grocery retailer in Saudi Arabia. The company operates over 182 stores across 39 cities in Saudi Arabia. Its core values include responsibility, flexibility, teamwork, excellent customer service, and integrity.
The project is the creation of a new retail portal from scratch, based on basic security principles.
Technology stack on the project: PHP, Oracle Database, SQL, Laravel (or Symfony), RESTful APIs, web application security, encryption techniques, Oracle Cloud, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, PHPUnit.
Responsibilities
- Developing server-side logic using PHP, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Integrating front-end components designed by the UI/UX team with backend processes.
- Designing and implementing APIs for communication between various modules (e.g., PO, supplier registration).
- Managing and optimizing databases (Oracle Cloud) for storing and retrieving supplier data, invoices, contracts, etc.
- Collaborating with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration and resolve bugs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in PHP backend development for 3+ years.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management, particularly Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Oracle Cloud) and scalable architectures.
- Experience with APIs and security best practices.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
