Responsibilities:
- Identifying and engaging with potential clients across various sectors in need of innovative technology solutions and consulting, particularly in the AI and data science sectors
- Implementing strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with high-level clients, including government agencies and corporate decision-makers
- Negotiating contracts, closing deals and managing client accounts to ensure long-term satisfaction and growth
- Navigating complex procurement processes and leading contract negotiations with precision
- Communicating effectively with high-level or challenging clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and partnerships
- Collaborating with internal teams, including R&D and Product Development, to align offerings with customer requirements
- Interacting with our executive leadership for strategic direction and to share insights “from the field”
- Applying domain awareness or expertise to communicating with customers while developing strong proficiency in our technology stack
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of business development experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- A strong work ethic and the ability to network
- Analytical and presentation skills
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to work with deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interface with varying levels of professionals, including C-level executives
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Background or interest in computer science, engineering, math, physics or a related technical or quantitative field
- Business development experience in a technical field
- Experience with Wolfram products
