About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Training & Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and knowledge management. As the Training & Development Specialist you will develop exceptional operational experiences for both teammates and customers. This is a cross-functional position within the company that acts as the “glue” to encourage communication sharing between product, marketing, community, trust and safety, and customer service. You will be responsible for staying current on product or policy changes and translating those into internal and external Knowledge Management and training programs for our customer-facing teammates.
About the Team
The Customer Support Department consists of a global team focused on creating consistent above-and-beyond-user experiences across all regions of product interaction via email, live chat, and phone channels. As the Training & Development Specialist on the Training & Enablement Team, you will develop & maintain training programs and own Knowledge Management for all Dolly line of businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the entire online and offline Dolly & Taskrabbit experience
- Stay informed of all process and policy changes as they occur and be able to articulate them accurately.
- Create content in line with Taskrabbit’s brand, tone, and voice guidelines and adapt the current catalog to meet the shifting needs of products and audiences.
- Design and create a curriculum for team onboarding, new product launches, policy updates, and new/updated tools.
- Ability to write clear, direct, friendly, empathetic, and easily digestible content.
- Consult with cross-functional teams on all site and policy changes, managing expectations and timelines for content creation.
- Own creation, edits, and translations of Support Center articles, macros, and internal Knowledge Management guide.
- Assess gaps in the current curriculum to evolve and improve training programs for existing and new products and programs in addition to updating and maintaining the training manual, materials, and knowledge base
- Provide data-driven suggestions that could turn into product and policy improvement projects.
- Determine needs that will drive Taskrabbit support to exceed customer expectations consistently.
- Ability to lead remote classroom training and engage with teammates through the facilitation of content and training materials as needed.
You should have
- 2+ years of experience in operations and/or customer service
- Previous experience creating content and/or instructional design for online audiences
- Previous experience collaborating with customer service or product teams, preferably in the tech industry.
- Experience developing materials and training modules focusing on dynamic training techniques
- Developing an understanding of efficient learning and content design.
- Strong instructional design skills for in-person, e-learning, and blended learning.
- An extremely detail-oriented approach: nothing slips past your eagle eyes.
- Is self-directed and organized with a high degree of personal accountability.
- Thrive in a feedback-rich environment and actively seek opportunities to improve the learning curve.
Compensation & Benefits:
At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent and equitable. Total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.
The annual gross pay range for this position is $55,000-$77,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
