We’re looking for a stellar Staff Product Designer to help us take our mental fitness tools to the next level. As a part of our world-class design team, you’ll work with product-oriented engineers, content strategists, and other stakeholders to help build stunning, thoughtful, and impactful experiences for our millions of users.
This is a fully remote position anywhere in North America or South America; however, we have a preference for candidates based in or around Los Angeles, CA.
How You’ll Make an Impact Here:
- Independently lead complex design projects, delivering beautiful and creative results
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to solve deep problems with simple and elegant solutions that deliver value to our customers
- Utilize strong communication skills to articulate decisions and advocate for design excellence
- Foster talent by mentoring fellow designers to help them develop and improve their skills
- Work lean and fast as part of a small, high-impact, and high-output design team
- Directly influence product and company decisions
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working on beautifully designed mobile products
- Design portfolio that demonstrates outstanding UX and UI work
- Deep-rooted user empathy and excellent visual and interaction design skills
- Comprehensive understanding of mobile design patterns
- Hunger to challenge yourself, learn new things, tackle complex problems, and level up your collaborators
- Highly proficient in Figma
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Collaborative and communicative, with a track record of giving and receiving impactful feedback, sharing insightful opinions, and asking thoughtful questions
Bonus:
- Experience building or working with meditation, educational, or puzzle-based experiences
- Experience working in a fully remote work environment with teammates operating across various time zones
- Experience with motion design and animation using tools such as After Effects or Rive
