Remote Security Operations Engineer @ Peerspace

The Peerspace Engineering team builds a secure, reliable, and maintainable platform for our engineering, product, and operations teams. As a Security Operations Engineer, you’ll help drive and execute critical security initiatives and independently manage our day-to-day security operations. You’ll work closely with the Lead Security Engineer to ensure our systems monitor, detect, and respond to security threats. This role is foundational to our commitment to security and stability, with high impact and career growth potential in a remote, fast-paced environment.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about cloud security, threat detection, and DevSecOps. You’ll be a collaborative partner who enjoys problem-solving and taking ownership of security initiatives, comfortable with both high-level strategy and hands-on implementation. You’ll also be a go-to resource for the security tools and services you oversee, helping shape our security culture across the company.

The annual salary range for this role is $140,000 to $160,000. The actual salary amount will vary depending on the applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and market data.
