This position is needed to sell Twilio solutions into high value existing customers of strategic importance. This person will play a key role in further growing the business within the EMEA region, with a particular focus on the UK market. The candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of a set of fast growing customers in the region. Focused mainly on solution cross and up-sell as well as organic revenue growth The role includes sourcing net new opportunities.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Service the fastest growing customers in the region.
- Grow our revenue and gross profit share of wallet within your key account list.
- Open doors to the purchase of Twilio’s products and services – including (but not limited to) voice, messaging, email, contact centre, account security software.
- Maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Create pricing proposals, negotiate terms and manage the contract process.
- Sell solutions to a technical and business audience.
- Build trust and mutual respect with customers and peers.
- Think outside of the box and have extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills to make complex contractual, technical, and financial details sound simple.
- Balance challenging priorities and handling multiple projects/deals at the same time.
- Effectively forecast on a weekly basis, understand and maintain a sales pipeline and be accountable for a set of targets set by the business

Required:
- 10+ years of Account Management/Sales experience covering selling and closing complex technical solutions to a large customer base within a CpaaS environment
- History of working with accounts ranging from large multinational enterprise customers to SMB.
- Demonstrated success by achieving quota on a consistent basis.
- Track record of Account Management experience and a solid understanding of how to cross and upsell solutions within a mature customer base.
- A solid understanding of financial reporting within a direct customer base – Revenue and Gross Profit tracking, Risk and Opportunity (net new business) cadence.
Desired:
- Ideally, you also have experience selling both to a business and technical audience.
- Experience and understanding of working in the communications market is preferable. Have sold or worked with Messaging, Voice Calling, Email, Account Security Verification. Or have prior experience in a traditional telecommunications environment/business.
Location
This role will be remote and based in the United Kingdom or Ireland
Travel
