As an Affiliate Manager, you will work on the Paid Media team and manage a portfolio of client accounts as their primary point of contact. You will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our clients’ affiliate marketing programs. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing affiliate strategies to maximize revenue, expand partner networks, and enhance brand visibility. The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $72,500 – $85,000, based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. You Will Be
- Manage a portfolio of assigned client accounts as the main point of contact, providing proactive and consistent client outreach and communication
- Liaise with Account Directors to coordinate weekly or bi-weekly calls with clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships while socializing affiliate strategies across a diverse client portfolio
- Develop and execute tailored strategies/objectives for each client to drive growth
- Support the Marketing Partnerships team in the tactical execution of affiliate and cross-channel partnership strategies
- Co-lead the execution of affiliate channel integration and broader partnership strategies
- Assess the competitive landscape to provide strategic recommendations, insights, and education to clients and internal teams
- Plan and execute day-to-day affiliate marketing campaigns
- Interface with affiliate networks to manage program operations and maintain regular communication with affiliates
- Manage client relationships with publishers, including negotiating placements and executing promotional opportunities
- Collect, assess, and edit promotional offers and links, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Run regular and ad hoc reports to identify data-driven opportunities for optimization
- Compile and deliver weekly performance reporting and insights
- Utilize existing QBR templates to deliver quarterly business updates per outlined timelines
- Develop monthly executive summaries outlining KPI performance by partner and funnel, as needed
You Must Have
- 2–4 years of affiliate marketing experience within an agency or in-house setting
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field (or relevant experience)
- Strong analytical skills: ability to extract trends from data using tools like Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas) and Google Analytics
- Familiarity with affiliate platforms such as Impact and CJ
- Ability to think strategically and adapt quickly, especially in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation capabilities
- Proven ability to maintain and grow positive affiliate and client relationships
- Strong direct client/customer-facing experience
- Proficient or familiar with influencer and SEO marketing (a plus)
