The College Saving Bilingual Representative is an excellent opportunity for a hard-working individual to work with investors who want to save for future college expenses. Representatives satisfy investor, advisor and prospect incoming phone inquiries on the 529 programs we manage and existing 529 accounts. The CSG Representative will have the opportunity to work with various aspects of Union Bankâs 529 Programs including an education in investments, taxes and various college savings and investment vehicles and programs.
Essential Functions:
- Answer toll free Customer Care lines for the UBT-managed 529 Programs and provide exceptional service at all times while satisfying investor, advisor and prospect inquiries on the 529 programs as well as providing servicing and transaction assistance for existing accounts.
- Review incoming enrollment and account maintenance paperwork for accuracy.
- Follow up on incomplete account enrollment or maintenance paperwork from investors and advisors.
- Assist with various project-based work such as Returned Mail, Account Research/Maintenance and Supply Inventory.
- Assist with the daily imaging of new enrollment and account maintenance forms in order to make them available for review on the system.
- Place requested marketing materials in packaging to be mailed out.
- Develop monthly and quarterly tracking reports for internal and external distribution.
- Maintain various databases.
- Assist with periodic mailings to investors and advisors.
- Research inquiries by using the Internet to gather data.
- Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
- Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Call Center or Customer Service experience preferred.
- Spanish fluency preferred.
- Working knowledge of investments and/or 529 Plan rules and regulations preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and in working with other financial software.
