The Contract Data & Reporting Specialist is responsible for cleaning, consolidating and maintaining customer contract data across multiple systems. The position ensures that every contract, amendment and renewal is accurately captured so the Revenue Operations team can more effectively manage renewals and produce timely reports for leadership. The initial work will focus on back-filling historic data, with ongoing maintenance thereafter.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and parse customer contracts, amendments, and cancellations to extract key terms, timelines, and conditions.
- Map the customer journey across systems and capture lifecycle events such as new sales, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, and early exits.
- Validate the accuracy of term dates and commercial details, correcting discrepancies and documenting decisions.
- Audit and back-fill historic contract records from Salesforce, Box (contract management system), Zendesk and legacy spreadsheets.
- Consolidate multiple data sets into a single source of truth and publish routine dashboards and ad hoc analyses.
- Serve as the primary person accountable for data integrity in this area, proactively flagging anomalies and recommending fixes.
- Work closely with Revenue Operations, Finance, Customer Success, and Legal to clarify contract nuances and source missing details.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in data entry, revenue operations or contract administration roles.
- Demonstrated experience pulling and reconciling data from multiple sources; Salesforce expertise strongly preferred.
- Advanced Google Sheets or Excel skills – comfortable with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, basic formulas, and data validation.
- Strong problem solving ability, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with SaaS contract lifecycles, renewals, and discount structures is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for collaborating across departments.
- Self-starter able to manage priorities independently and meet agreed deadlines.
