Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity

**Please note, this role can be filled at a 3G Sales Alliance Analyst level or a 3H Sales Alliance Associate Analyst level**

This position supports the Sales Alliance team by developing and communicating programs and opportunities to sales teams within Auto Finance. The candidate will apply knowledge of retail/lease products and dealership operations allowing for effective communication of sales opportunities. Position will be responsible for preparing talking points that can be utilized by the sales team, developing presentations of opportunities with specific OEMs, dealers or Ally Regions and analyzing payment comparisons. A significant portion of time is spent working with sales teams and sales leadership. The position will also be responsible for supporting or managing strategic initiatives.

The Work Itself

• Identify operating/performance trends and outliers via interpretation of business intelligence data and quantitative analysis. Assist with development and implementation of appropriate metrics/ reporting that drive business results and adoption of best practices. Interprets and translates business data and intelligence into market insights and actionable reporting.
• Communication with all levels of the sales organization to support business objectives. Identification of market growth opportunities and competitive landscape dynamics. Help enable sales teams for success through actionable recommendations and executive summaries to accompany data and analytics.
• Support of and participation with key business leaders and various stakeholder partners in revenue generation and process improvement opportunities. Active collaborative role with greater matrix partner teams.
• Demonstrate strong communication with matrix partners by participating on bi-monthly field calls, regional sales team calls, developing and delivering written summaries of opportunities and handling ad hoc requests.
• Work within designated Ally region(s) to develop relationships and be a trusted resource.
• Collaboratively work within Sales Alliance team to understand programs put into market and how they can help drive incremental business to Ally; this includes being involved in ownership of own regional sales team territory and in full support.
• Act as a liaison between Sales Alliance OEM teams and Auto Finance sales teams enabling programs developed by Sales Alliance to drive revenue for Ally.
• Perform re-occurring responsibilities that support key Regional Engagement Team functions including field calls, payment comps, lease payment flyers and performance reporting as necessary.
• Develop relationships and work with senior sales leadership and other matrix partners as necessary.
• Be able to analytically interpret data and find opportunities for sales team to win incremental business.
• Support or manage strategic initiatives across Auto Finance

The Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1 + years in financial services or similar industry is preferred (Associate Analyst 3H)
• 2+ years in financial services or similar industry is preferred (Analyst 3G)
• Auto finance, banking, underwriting or sales support experience is preferred.
• Typically requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs including PowerPoint and Excel
• Demonstrate a highly developed understanding of interpreting data and identifying opportunities.
• High level of written and oral communication skills and data interpretation.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workflow.
• Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis and research methods.
