The Role (What)   This position will be accountable for managing the execution of contracts from initiation to  completion and contract closeout, ensuring that they are executed in accordance with the  specifications, time and budgets defined. in compliance with Novo Nordisk’s procurement  and business ethics standards
Key Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities (How):- Â Manage the contract life cycle since the beginning until the final completion and contract closeout.
- Validate the Request for Approval process submitted by Construction Management
- Contractors.
- Validate the contract is being executed in accordance with the commercial, legal and technical conditions defined by the parties.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractorsâ performance and compliance and take appropriate action to ensure that all parties are meeting their obligations.
- Ensure, with the support of the assigned cost controller, the execution of the contract in accordance with the planned costs.
- Guarantee, with the support of the assigned scheduler, the execution of the contract in accordance with the activities defined in the contract execution schedule.
- Monitor, with the support of the PMC team, potential risks arising in the execution of the contract and ensure that measures are taken to mitigate them.
- Generate the Reports defined in Novo Nordisk contract management procedures
- Responsible for administrative work related to the role
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelorâs degree in civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field of study.
- Masterâs degree in projects or a relevant field of study, preferred.
- 6+ years of experience as a Contract Manager in projects in Life Science or similar areas.
- Strong Knowledge background in: Contract Lifecycle, Management, Project Control / Schedule, Risk Management, Compliance, Cost Control
- Microsoft Office Suite Experience – 2+ years
- Strong interpersonal skills
