Remote Sr. Technical Marketing Engineer, Unity Catalog @ Databricks

MKTQ326R7

While candidates in the listed locations are encouraged for this role, we are open to remote candidates within the United States

At Databricks, Unity Catalog is the foundation of data intelligence. At its core, it addresses who can access what data and AI products and how we keep them secure, trackable, and compliant, no matter where they live. But it also reaches beyond governance to connect usage patterns, lineage, data sharing, cost controls, and business semantics into a unified picture of data and AI across an organization. Often, when customers are asked why they choose Databricks, Unity Catalog is the answer.

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer to help us tell the story of the unified governance category. You will make the innovation and benefits of Unity Catalog real through demos, workshops, guides, and technical content that showcase Unity Catalog, Delta Sharing, and Marketplace for fellow practitioners. This role reports to the Director of Technical Marketing and works closely with product, engineering, field teams, and product marketing.

You’ll build hands-on solutions that help users understand and adopt data governance at scale. You’ll also represent Databricks in deep technical conversations with customers, analysts, and at public forums—through conferences, webinars, and other speaking opportunities.

Ideal candidates are technical, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating complex topics around access control, data sharing, and security to both expert and non-expert audiences.
