Genesys is looking for an HRIS Manager who will drive an outstanding employee experience, ensuring our tools and technology are market leading. You will lead a team of HRIS Analysts that are responsible for enabling our leaders, colleagues and the HR function to execute processes at pace through simple and effective design and build. The role leads on developing best practice functionality across the Workday systems landscape across HR, Payroll and Finance, building and engaging stakeholders in our technology roadmap.
Partnering with the HR People Operations team, you will interact with all levels in the organization. You must have the ability to ascertain individual end-user and business needs, and the ability to communicate with people that have varying levels of technical expertise. This role reports directly to the Senior Director, HRIS.Â
What youâll do in this role:Â
- Develop, lead and maintain the Workday roadmap, driving the agenda in line with the business priorities.
- Own and oversee projects and operations relating to HR Systems, when necessary, acting as a project manager to ensure the efficient delivery of new and improved functionality.
- Act as a liaison between key business areas to work with and educate users on applications and technology in support of business processes and enhancements.
- Focus on optimizing efficiency, ensuring data integrity, and safeguarding system security/data privacy with a commitment to utilizing best practices and Overseeing HR Data Security procedures and guidelines.
- Manage HR system migrations, enhancements, upgrades, projects and new implementations, including the development and/or review of project plans, statements of work, resource allocation, user and Third-Party Administrator training and support, as well as application configuration, testing, user support, and reporting.
- Oversee the day-to-day activity of the team, managing, upskilling, and mentoring the HRIS Analysts.
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Five to seven years of progressive experience with HR systems, ideally in a global environment, with advanced experience in one or more area of Workday (Core, Security, Benefits, Absence, etc.).
- At least 2 years of demonstrated experience successfully managing projects and teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing demands.
- Experience of developing, leading, and maintaining Workday roadmaps, along with driving the future agenda in line with business priorities.
- Strong people management skills along with experience of managing technical teams.
- Previous experience of looking after an optimization project, and a passion for making Workday work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and engagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to excellence, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally; to uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive situations with tact.
- Proactive enthusiasm for solving problems and innovation.
