This role
As Head of Hero Systems, your mission will be to lead the team responsible for the platforms that power our core business processes â from revenue systems and customer experience tooling, to integrated workflows that help us scale globally.
This role is designed to evolve our enterprise systems capability from a product-aligned delivery function into a strategic partner that shapes how Employment Hero supports and scales global operations. Youâll own the strategy, people leadership, and BAU execution across systems like Salesforce and its surrounding ecosystem, ensuring theyâre scalable, integrated, and aligned with business goals.
Youâll build robust intake, prioritisation, and planning models; partner deeply with business stakeholders; and ensure our systems can not only meet today’s needs â but drive future automation, AI integration, and global performance.

This will include
- Leading Enterprise Systems Strategy: Define and drive a roadmap aligned with EHâs tech and business goals, balancing operational support and strategic growth.
- Owning System Roadmaps: Manage core enterprise platforms (initially CX and revenue systems), ensuring reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement.
- Enabling Cross-Functional Delivery: Build and lead a high-performing team that collaborates across functions to deliver impactful outcomes.
- Prioritising & Planning Effectively: Design intake models and planning frameworks to manage system demand and execution.
- Fostering a Strong Team Culture: Mentor system leads and embed a delivery mindset focused on collaboration, outcomes, and alignment.
- Driving Business Partnership: Act as the tech lead in key initiatives, translating business needs into platform capabilities.
- Champion System Integration: Identify and support integration points to enable seamless, end-to-end business workflows.
- Embedding Security by Design: Work with Security to ensure governance, secure development practices, and team-wide awareness.
- Adopting AI-First Thinking: Identify opportunities for AI-powered automation, insights, and workflow optimisation across platforms.
- Managing Vendors Strategically: Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, spend, and support across key enterprise systems.
- Supporting Data Enablement: Structure systems to deliver clean, governed data for analytics and AI use cases.
- Staying Ahead of Trends: Monitor platform evolution and tech trends to inform future-state system planning.
Who you are
To thrive at Employment Hero, youâll need to embody The EH Way – operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, youâll also bring:
- 8+ years in enterprise systems leadership, ideally within high-growth or global SaaS environments
- Strong experience managing CRM, CX, or revenue operations systems â Salesforce experience highly desirable
- Proven ability to drive strategic alignment, build prioritisation models, and deliver at scale
- Deep understanding of cross-functional business processes and how systems can support and enhance them
- Comfortable working across a diverse system landscape, even when not directly owning all platforms
- Confident with vendor management, platform governance, and integration strategy
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and collaboration skills
- Exposure to AI platforms or embedded AI capabilities in systems is a strong plus
