We partner with teams across the company to improve the profitability, scalability, and defensibility of our business model. About the Role
We are looking for a Manager who will play an integral role in building our business strategy and ensure we are making the most efficient investment and capital allocation decisions for DashPass, our fast-growing subscription-based membership program. This role will partner cross-functionally with teams across the business to support strategic business and financial decisions.Â

- Drive strategic decision making in a fast paced constantly changing environment
- Partner with our business development and partnerships teams to evaluate and support strategic partner initiatives, including modeling, diligence, and integration planning.
- Oversee the financial viability and performance of our adoption initiatives
- Assist with the quarterly planning process in collaboration with our S&O counterparts
- Work to optimize our approach to balancing growth vs. profitability Identify and quantify key risks & opportunities in our business
- Track and analyze key business/financial KPIs, uncover trends and assess current/future business risks and opportunities
- Operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that is constantly evolving
Weâre excited about you becauseâ¦
- 6+ years of strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking experience at a high-growth technology startup or well-established company
- Have subject matter expertise in consumer subscription businesses, and have prior experience owning and forecasting key inputs (adoption, CTP, retention, ARPU) and outputs (subscriber balance, subscription revenue)
- Experience supporting partnerships and BD teams by evaluating potential partner opportunities and developing financial diligence to support negotiations and execution.
- Ability to influence cross-functional partners at all levels within an organization
- Experience managing forecasts for major departments within an organization
- Advanced Excel, google sheets and financial modeling skills. Able to build robust financial models used by teams throughout the company, and to size opportunities and build business cases for pursuing new initiatives
- Basic SQL proficiency (or willingness to learn). Able to manipulate large data sets, uncover hidden insights in our data, and meaningfully improve our understanding of our business through this processÂ

Compensation
The successful candidateâs starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employeeâs work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

- For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.$134,000â$197,000 USD
