Qualifications:
- 10+ years of enterprise WAN/LAN architecture (HQ, branch, DC).
- 3+ years of enterprise pre-sales experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of large scale enterprise SD-WAN / SASE, switching and WAN deployment requirements, OEM differentiators, and customer needs.
- Awareness or experience with FWA (carrier 4G/5G), including understanding of MVNO, APNs, modem capabilities vs. carrier limits and deployment requirements.
- Advanced branch networking (switching, Wi-Fi 6/6E/7, segmentation, SD-Branch).
- Fluency in comparing OEM management platforms and framing business vs. technical trade-offs to decision makers.
- CCNP-level certification (or higher) or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to “own the room” and confidently engage with executive decision makers and translate deep technical concepts for high-level decision makers.
- Experience in scoping services projects and an understanding of LOE development and SOW development.
- Ability to engage and develop cross-functional teams for offer development between OEMs, delivery partners, marketing, legal/risk and align our capabilities to customer needs and expectations.
- Ability to travel 30% or more.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- 3+ years of experience with carriers’ 4G/5G fixed-wireless, in-building cellular (DAS/private LTE/5G), or point-to-point microwave backhaul.
- RF/wireless certs (CWNP, CBRS CPI).
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, Python) for campus/branch automation experience.
- Experience securely connecting IoT devices, including an understanding of Precision Time Protocol, Resilient Ring Networking, NB-IoT, Cisco Secure Equipment Access, and other IoT and manufacturing-related requirements.

What will you be doing?
World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a pre-sales architect with deep expertise in SD-WAN and enterprise switching/campus networking, and the strategic ability to advise executives on wireless edge connectivity, when it strengthens the overall design.
You will guide large enterprise, retail, healthcare, utilities, manufacturing, and other distributed-edge customers as they integrate:
- SD-WAN & Enterprise Switching (primary charter)
- Secure SD-WAN / SASE fabrics, SD-Branch segmentation, and Zero-Touch Provisioning
- Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) consumption models from Cisco, Aruba, Nile, Meter, Graphiant
- Supplemental wireless edge connectivity (e.g., 4G/5G fixed-wireless, in-building DAS, satellite/Starlink options) that augments wireline last-mile or indoor mobility
- Wi-Fi 6/6E/7, large-scale IoT onboarding
Responsibilities:
- Pre-sales leadership: own development and delivery of executive-level presentations for SD-WAN, switching, and complementary wireless solutions.
- Advise and promote Enterprise WAN & branch architectures: SD-WAN use cases, OEM differentiators, underlay options, campus switching, segmentation (VLAN, VRF, SGT/ClearPass), and core OEM management platforms.
- NaaS GTM development: Promote Aruba, Cisco, Meter, Nile, and Graphiant offers; articulate consumption models, pricing, SLAs, OPEX vs. CAPEX.
- GTM collateral & enablement: build sales playbooks, customer presentations, competitive matrices, WWT Research, blogs, webinars, and overall thought leadership for these technologies.
- ATC lab advocacy: advise and evaluate lab offerings to support GTM demonstration needs.
- OEM interface: Arista, Aruba, Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Cradlepoint, Meter, Nile, Graphiant.
- C-level engagement & solution leadership: Lead discovery workshops, craft architectures, and present business outcomes to executives for SD-WAN, switching, and complementary wireless solutions.
