Your Role as Senior Account Executive
As a Senior Account Executive in our Enterprise Market segment, you will be the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic key accounts. You will:
- Own and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and aligning them with the full Genesys CX portfolio.
- Lead complex, consultative sales cycles to secure net-new business and expand existing accounts.
- Develop and execute account and opportunity plans using MEDDPICC methodology within a motivated vertical sales team.
- Generate a strong sales pipeline through proactive outreach and strategic prospecting.
- Coordinate and orchestrate cross-functional teams—including Presales, Professional Services, Customer Success, Technical Account Management, and Renewals—to ensure smooth sales cycles and ongoing client satisfaction.
- Act as a leader within virtual teams, driving collaboration and winning complex deals.
- Take full revenue responsibility and consistently meet or exceed your sales quota.
What We Expect From You
- Proven experience in Key Account Management and business development, ideally with 8+ years in professional sales.
- Expertise in selling complex software solutions, preferably within Manufacturing and Retail verticals.
- Strong network and relationships within AWS, Salesforce, and ServiceNow ecosystems.
- Exceptional customer orientation and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with fluency in German and English.
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Self-motivated, proactive, team player with resilience under pressure.
- Willingness to travel frequently as required.
