Description & Requirements
How you will contribute:- Contribute to large-scale performance improvement projects with a focus on revenue integrity.
- Provide support in client engagements related to price transparency compliance, pricing strategy development, payor contracting, payment variance analyses, description master (CDM) reviews, charge capture optimization, and charge reconciliation.
- Assist in quantifying the financial impact of assessment findings and translating them into actionable implementation plans, including financial impact modeling to support charge setting and strategic pricing decisions.
- Manage and analyze large, complex data sets to generate insights that drive engagement outcomes. Translate data into meaningful recommendations that support client goals.
- Produce clear, compelling deliverables—including analytics, reports, and presentations—that consistently exceed client expectations and demonstrate measurable value.
- Assist in preparing materials and supporting communications for a range of stakeholders, including C-suite executives, management teams, steering committees, and boards of directors.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related discipline)
- 4+ years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry
- Specialized knowledge in revenue integrity and middle revenue cycle functions, including charge capture and reconciliation
- Experience with both hospital charge setting and managed care contract modeling
- Familiarity with technologies and data analytics tools used to enhance revenue and charge capture processes within hospital and clinic settings
- Strong analytic skills and the ability work with large quantities of data effectively and efficiently
- Experience in performance improvement initiatives, particularly those related to the accurate capture and flow of charges from clinical departments through to billing and claims
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
- Experience with SQL and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Previous employment with a medium to large consulting firm, preferably in healthcare or revenue cycle advisory services
