What this Job Entails:
The Reliability Engineer II should be results-focused, self-directed, data-driven and have the ability to adapt easily to the changing needs of the business. Someone in this role will work with the risk management, engineering, and manufacturing teams to identify trends and work to implement preventative measures to limit failure of product and processes.
Scope:
Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
Works on problems of moderate scope
Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide guidelines to the design team for new product development and manufacturing product life cycle.
Improve reliability tools/methods throughout engineering and manufacturing during the design phase and product life cycle.
Handles the design, oversight, and execution of reliability/serviceability tests including accelerated life testing, environmental stress screening, and reliability testing.
Collaborates with Product Engineering, and our vendors in support of product reliability.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Builds productive internal and external working relationships
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
Knowledgeable about various safety standards and regulations
Experience working with various reliability software
Ability to read and interpret electric, electronic and mechanical drawings and schematics
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
Understanding of technical documentation and report generation
Understanding of how to assess performance of fielded equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
Various reliability certifications
Physical Demand & Work Environment:
Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
Must be able to use a computer
Must have the ability to communicate effectively
