Technical Consultant – Digital Computational Pathology (Osakidetza)
Job Description
This role focuses primarily on Basque Country and primary location at Gipuzkoa, Bilbao or Vitoria. The position is on-site and requires travel between the laboratories of one of our main clients.
We contribute by researching, developing, manufacturing, selling, and implementing solutions for driving the digital breakthrough of pathology. The solution is highly innovative and tailored, combining ultra–high- resolution scanners for digitizing tissue samples with fully integrated software for viewing, diagnosis, and third-party AI analysis. Depending on specific needs, it can also include a complete turnkey IT infrastructure covering all computing and storage requirements.
Your role
Implement the Digital Pathology IT solutions for new customer projects enabling storing and real time streaming of up to petabytes of data.
Upgrade existing customers to newer versions of the software.
Ensure the customers’ lifecycle with the Digital Pathology solutions is smooth by participating in incident and problem management activities.
Work on supporting troubleshooting Digital Pathology in our customers in Europe.
Support for existing clients.
You´re the right fit if you have:
Desirable minimum of 1 year of experience in IT (Hardware and Software)
Good skills for working with delicate hardware components.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem analyzing skills.
Team player attitude
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
Fluent Spanish and good English skills both written and oral (Italian / French skills are a plus).
Nice to have knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft SQL, Active Directory, Group Policies, VMWARE and network.
Geography: The role is based in Bilbao and will cover North of Spain.

The selected person will be required to travel between the various centers of this important customer (five different locations) in Basque Country. Travel between locations is required, and there will be limited time for working remotely from home.
