About Us:
Role:
In this role, you’ll not only leverage your expertise in TypeScript, React, Redux, and Sagas, but also guide frontend architectural decisions, influence cross-functional technical strategy, and mentor other engineers. You’ll partner with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration and occasionally dive into backend systems when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Frontend Codebase: Write clean, performant, and scalable code using TypeScript, React, Redux, and Sagas, ensuring maintainability and future scalability of the codebase.
- Architectural Integration: Understand and contribute to the overall technical architecture, ensuring seamless integration between front-end components and backend services (APIs, databases, etc.).
- UI Precision: Translate Figma designs into precise code, accounting for various UI states (hover, active, loading), cross-browser compatibility, and different modes (dark/light, mobile/desktop).
- Performance Optimization: Implement performance optimization techniques to maintain a fast and responsive user interface, even as the codebase grows.
- Code Reviews and Standards: Establish and enforce coding standards, perform thorough code reviews, and advocate for engineering excellence across the team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, contributing to discussions and proactively addressing potential issues.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Provide technical mentorship, lead design reviews, and help establish best practices for the frontend team.
- Architectural Leadership: Define and communicate frontend architecture that aligns with long-term business and technical goals.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers, ensuring alignment with best practices and long-term architectural vision.
- System Design and Architecture: Lead the design of complex systems and features, making decisions that balance scalability, maintainability, and business needs.
- Incident Response and Reliability: Drive initiatives for monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure reliability, security, and high availability of the frontend systems.
- Scaling Practices: Anticipate and plan for growth in traffic, data, and team size by defining scalable engineering processes and systems.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Expertise: 10+ years in Frontend development
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in frontend technologies, particularly TypeScript, React, Redux, and Sagas. Familiarity with other modern frameworks/libraries is a plus.
- Code Quality: Demonstrated ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, with a focus on future scalability and performance.
- Architectural Understanding: In-depth understanding of how frontend components integrate with backend services and the overall technical architecture.
- Security Awareness: Strong understanding of security best practices, particularly in handling sensitive data and securing frontend applications.
- Performance Optimization: Experience with performance optimization techniques to keep the frontend fast and responsive as the codebase scales.
- UI/UX Precision: High attention to detail in matching code output to design specs, considering all UI states and cross-browser/device compatibility.
- Business Acumen: Ability to grasp and align with the company’s business logic and strategic goals, contributing to UX and product discussions.
- Communication and Independence: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work proactively, independently, and asynchronously in a fully remote environment.
