Remote – USA
The Senior RPA Engineer will lead the design, development, and scaling of Python-based RPA solutions for healthcare automation at Revecore. This role involves architecting complex automation pipelines for web portals, chatbots, and EMR systems (Epic, Meditech, Cerner), introducing best practices for reliability, observability, and security. The Senior Engineer will mentor junior RPA engineers, collaborate with product and operations teams, and drive innovation in automation capabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable RPA architectures in Python, covering data ingestion, processing, and integrations with EMRs and payer systems.
- Drive adoption of bot orchestration, centralized logging, and monitoring for high availability and performance.
- Design and extend C# bot managers and API integrations supporting RPA workflows, ensuring smooth interaction between Python scripts and C# components.
- Architect automation workflows for multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and container-based deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Mentor junior RPA engineers, review code, and establish engineering standards for automation projects.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and data teams to prioritize automation opportunities and align with business goals.
- Implement robust error handling, exception management, and automated recovery for production workloads.
- Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure HIPAA and PHI data handling standards are consistently applied.
- Introduce new technologies, frameworks, or practices that improve automation scalability and maintainability.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing automation solutions using Python in production environments.
- Proficiency in C# to design and extend bot managers and API integrations supporting RPA workloads.
- Expertise in web automation, API integrations, and data pipelines.
- Experience with hospital EMR systems (Epic, Meditech, Cerner) and portal/chatbot integrations.
- Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong background in monitoring, logging, and orchestration tools for automation reliability.
- Demonstrated leadership in technical mentoring, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with workflow orchestration frameworks (Airflow, Celery) for managing distributed automation workloads.
- Experience optimizing hybrid Python + C# automation pipelines to ensure reliability and maintainability.
- Prior work automating payer-provider revenue cycle management workflows.
- Exposure to serverless computing (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda) for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with data engineering pipelines for large-scale healthcare data processing.
- A quiet, distraction-free environment to work from in your home.
- A secure home internet connection with speeds >20 Mbps for downloads and >10 Mbps for uploads is required.
