TITLE: Voice Recording Support Engineer
DEPARTMENT: ASG Compliance

REPORTING TO: Technical Team Lead, ASG

Role Overview:

Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in this Role:

  1. Strong understanding of Virtualization technologies, Networking and Operating Systems (Linux RedHat, Windows Servers):
    1. Domains / Workgroups
    2. User accounts and Services
  1. OS low level troubleshooting: CLI, log review, firewall and file operations
  2. TCP/IP / DHCP / DNS / NTP
  1. An understanding of VoIP and SIP
  2. Experience working in a technical support role, preferably to external customers
  3. Technical writing / drawing skills
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. Flexibility and willingness to work non-standard hours on occasion to meet customer
  6. Meet requirements of background screening, reference checks and education verification
    • Strong preference for:
  7. Experience with IPC technologies, NICE products & Verint products
  8. Experience with Wireshark or other packet capture products
  9. Experience with database technology such as SQL Server and MYSQL
  10. Experience with Financial trading systems such as IPC Unigy or IPC Alliance
  11. Server & Operating Systems Certifications:
    1. Linux Certification (CompTIA, LPIC, or Red Hat), or
    2. Microsoft Certification (MCSE, MCSA)
  1. Network / Telecommunications Certifications:
    1. NICE NCSE or NCSE
    2. Verint (Impact360)
  1. Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCVP)
  2. Any advanced SIP certification (SSCA, etc)
  3. Familiarity with ITIL practices
    • Education and experience:
  4. Minimum 2 years in Fintech, Information Technology or Telecommunications required
  5. 4 year college degree preferred
