⭐ Our Team:
We’ve found that the best way to learn is to do so in an environment which is as close to the actual job as possible. That’s why our training is 75% independent learning. This independent learning happens in a Learning Management System, where COps discover our app, products, and internal tools through videos, infographics, realistic mock-ups and prototypes.
COps then begin to embed what they’ve learned from our LMS through workshops. These workshops are supportive environments to encourage group discussions and planned activities.
Your role is to design and build the learning experiences that COps spend 75% of their training time using.
People may choose to work here because they love the design, simplicity, functionality and ‘magic moments’ that we have in our app, and they should see the same ethos reflected in our training.
You’ll use our Instructional Design Standards and the best design apps to build the kind of experiences that prepare COps for their role while meeting their demands for consistent brand design, functionality and learner experience.
🔑 You’ll play a key role by…
- Using curriculums and learning outcomes created by our Business Partners, you’ll build effective and engaging learning experiences. You’ll do this by creating the text copy, media assets and knowledge checks/assessments that form our training programmes.
- Developing your writing skills, learning to create engaging and accessible text copy which acts as the foundations for our independent learning courses.
- Curating our Learning Management System with a risk mindset by replacing and archiving any outdated training and maintaining a platform where ‘live’ training courses are accurate.
- Designing training with accessibility, inclusion and relevance in mind. Every element of your training will be able to be used by all of our learners, including those at our global sites.
- Developing your skills in our software platforms and technologies. You’ll share what you’ve learned and discovered with other training designers to build a community of practice.
- Contributing to discussions on our Learning/Performance strategy by providing insights and spotting opportunities/trends within training design, such as developments in AI, software capabilities or new tools that we could be using.
🤩 We’d love to hear from you if…
- You have a strong ‘learning experience’ mindset, and understand how to design. Functionality and accessibility should work together to create relevant and engaging learning experiences.
- You understand relationship management. You’ll be working with lots of stakeholders, including the Business Partners who created the curriculums/learning outcomes, the Ops leads who want to drive performance, and the COps who will be using your training.
- You are motivated to learn and develop your skills. There are so many skills that a Training Designer will need. Writing, relationship management, project management, user/learning experience curating, risk management, design and media, software and using AI etc.
- You are proactive in maintaining, updating, verifying/reviewing and archiving the courses and programmes in our Learning Management System.
- You have an understanding of Instructional Design Principles and adult learning theory.
- You care deeply about the impact that good training can have on both the learner and business.
