Job Description Summary
This is a key role in the Aero Systems Engineering Team managing RAM and Safety programs. The Reliability Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams to execute multiple RAM programs and coordinate customer communications in a timely and efficient manner.
Systems integration engineering is a cross-functional engineering discipline centered around a systems thinking approach and the product development process. This includes all activities that consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the user’s needs.
Systems engineers execute a robust process of design and system optimization by:
• Evaluating the engineering team ability to meet system requirements
• Develop alternate system design concepts
• Perform engineering trade studies to meet requirements
• Select and implement safe, quality designs
• Verification that the design is properly integrated and executed
Job Description
- Plan and coordinate along the execution of Reliability, Availability and Manufacturability (RAM) and Safety programs for assigned product lines.
- Coordinate between Design Engineering, Product Services, Manufacturing, Sourcing and Product Line teams to develop realistic program plans.
- Develop customer communications by leading teams to create Product Bulletins, Product Letters, Field Modifications Instructions, Hot List Documents, etc.
- Monitor, control and track budget requirements for ongoing and new programs, control the actual budget spend for active programs and apply proper measurements to spend allocated budget on approved and high priority programs and activities.
- Support and participate in technical and program reviews and customers meetings when required, including user conferences and internal reports to upper management and Product Services organization.
- Utilize Lean and standardized methodology to improve current business products and processes. Be a promoter of the methodology across the organization.
- Effectively communicate and provide recommendations to internal and external GE customers through the analysis, preparation, and presentation of technical data.
- Provide the technical engineering support to improve or resolve design, performance, manufacturing, supplier, or field issues.
Basic requirements;
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Significant experience in program management or technical experience in gas turbine, accessories, plant, or controls engineering
Desired qualifications;
- Strong knowledge of gas turbine equipment and demonstrated technical capability.
- Experience with Aeroderivative product development.
- Previous Program Management experience with strong delivery and presentation skills
- Problem analysis and resolution skills.
- Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and with partner organizations.
- Ability and willingness to challenge status quo, without allegiance to past or current practices and technology, to drive to the best GE products.
- Proven track record of delivering results in a complex and dynamic business environment.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is Total Base Pay $98,400.00 – $164,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, geographic location, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a variable Incentive performance bonus of 15% (Vic). This position will stay open on the career website until at least Sept Sept 23rd 2025. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas of the USA.
