We’re seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee freight, supplier engagement, and inventory support. You’ll manage international and domestic shipments, ensure accurate system updates, and contribute to procurement and MRP processes. This role is ideal for candidates with strong logistics and supply chain knowledge.
- Monitor and follow up on domestic and international freight to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers, and transport providers to resolve delays and manage documentation.
- Update internal systems (MS Dynamics BC) with shipment statuses and notify teams of delays or disruptions.
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm dispatch dates, documentation, and shipping methods.
- Support MRP (Material Requirements Planning) processes to ensure supply and demand alignment.
- Assist with inventory tracking and reconciliation of goods against purchase orders.
- Provide procurement support, including placing orders with international suppliers.
- Communicate proactively with sales and customer service on delivery expectations.
- Resolve shipment discrepancies, delivery errors, or damaged goods issues.
- Maintain accurate freight and customs records, including PODs and invoices.
- Contribute to process improvements across supply chain operations.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, or freight coordination.
- Strong knowledge of freight processes (domestic and international).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics BC and MRP systems.
- Strong supplier engagement and procurement experience.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data/documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English for supplier engagement via phone and email.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple shipments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs requirements advantageous.
