JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supporting Project Managers in ensuring that project management principles, techniques and best practices are applied in the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process; support Project Managers in their project delivery needs and ensure that all deliverables are tracked and documentation is current.
DUTIES
- Assist in scope definition, the development of project artifacts such as PIRs, Charters, project plans and in other project management responsibilities
- Support seasoned project managers in software deployments
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of project dashboards
- Manage software defects for release planning purposes
- Establish relationships with other departments and stakeholders involved.
- Responsible for planning and design, scheduling, conflict resolution, contract adherence, risk management, and assist in the execution of the full project life cycle.
- Assist management in the development and implementation of project management industry best practices within the organization.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with all departments, stakeholders and external customers involved with projects.
- Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

- Support client implementation management in implementation of new clients.
- Manage client and project deliverables, tracking against project plans for go-live dates.
- Assist in the oversight and coordination of interdepartmental partnership projects.
- Facilitate and manage provider communications, including:
- Maintenance of outreach materials.
- Management of technology to send outreach.
- Tracking of all provider communications.
JOB SCOPE:
This incumbent works under minimal direction and uses independent judgment to identify issues, trends & problems and recommend action plans and evaluate results on projects that may not be clearly defined. Work is varied and complex, requiring the individual to use a broad range of knowledge gained through prior project management experience. Work is dynamic and varied and will support the Project Managers and contribute to the Project Management Team. The position works with internal and external sources to complete objectives, keeping the needs of external and internal customers as a priority when making decisions and taking action.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $60-70K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of related project management experience.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a managed healthcare environment, including project management and supervisory experience.
- Tools: General use of MS Office.
- Skills:
- Ability to manage operations in a data-driven environment.
- Ability to work with and understand complex data systems.
- Strong focus on workflow management, customer service, and business objectives.
- Emphasis on collaboration, resource management, and independent action.
